
Japanese Goblin Shark
6 September 2008I’ve posted about strange animals before, especially animals that live in the ocean depths. It’s such a different environment from the one we’re familiar with, filled with such weirdly different animals. Weird just got taken to a new level, though, when I found this video of a Japanese Goblin Shark.
Those are three freaky words.
Later on in the video you’ll see it’s a bit odd, but not that bizarre. It’s a small, deep-dwelling shark with a large flat nose. But it’s the biting behaviour earlier on that’s so freaky: its jaws extend out, much like those of an Alien.
